Can anyone tell me why we need this?
no, I don’t think anyone can… 🙂
Would be interesting to know… 😉
It would be interesting to know…but I remain skeptical about receiving satisfactory explanations 🙂
I think it depends on how they created it – genetic splicing not so flash – cross pollination I have no problem with though. Out in Bacca’s Marsh there was an orchard selling peacharines (nectarine and peach tree cross pollinated together) and plumicots (you guessed it plum and apricot) – they were pretty awesome I thought.
*Bacchus Marsh (sorry – autocorrect)
Love the name “plumicots” 🙂
I’m not sure how they made it, I was reading a little earlier… something about hybrid…
I’m happy it exists because it looks pretty and I can puzzle over it. But, I don’t think I would eat it myself…
Here we call plumicots pluots, and they are GOOD! Mmmm…
Maybe people want the taste of a pineapple without all the hard work…? 😉 IDK
because no one wants to go through the trouble of slicing through a pineapple haha
Looks interesting… sort of like a lychee crossed with a strawberry!
I know, really weird
