The end is near (or not for me, I need to revisit last week and go again) for the 100 Push Ups Challenge. Here are the plans for week 6;
Before you attack these plans, depending on the results of your latest test, continue with an appropriate week and column, even if it means you have to complete week 5 again (like me, I’m dying over here!). If you managed between 46-50 push ups, then pick column one, if you did between 51-60, then go for column two. If you on the other hand did more than 60 push ups (go you!) you can go ahead with column three. Or you may do week 5 again if you need to. That’s fine (remember how many you did in week one!!).
If you manage to finish week 6 with no (major) problems, you are ready for the last and final test. If you were struggling, then I would suggest you repeat week 6 one more time before you go for the test! The final test is simply (not simple or easy in any means!!) doing as many consecutive pushups as you can. If you have been following the program one hundred percent, gone back a week if you have been struggling with the progress, then you should have the strength to do 100 (that is one hundred) consecutive push ups! That is a lot of push ups!!
Think to yourself you’ll do ten at a time, then another ten. Then do them one by one. Push through. Focus. Keep breathing! And do as many as you possibly can! If you don’t reach a hundred, see how many more you can do today than you did in week 1! If you want to give it another go, go back to week 5 and repeat week 5 and 6 again, before trying for another final test. You can do it! Go, go, GO!
Training plans and idea from here.
