I am really bad at being sick. It is sooooooo boring! On the top of coughing, sneezing and blowing my nose every few minutes, I also lost my voice for two entire days!! And even for those of you who don’t know me, you must have noticed how much I love talking. I can talk non-stop from I wake up until I go to bed (and some days I actually do just that). It was pretty hard not being able to have an opinion. I have many of them. All the time. So Thursday and Friday I was very, very quiet! Booooring! I finished a book I’ve been reading for a while though. And now I am hooked on Henning Mankell books and need to go stock up on the ones I don’t have! Have you read any of his books?
I’ve also spent a lot of time on the couch the last days. Every time I have tried to move more than walking to the kitchen and back, my body turns into a coughing machine. So needless to say I haven’t been able to do much exercise at all the last week. Like literally nothing and it’s killing me. I went for a walk today and that was the first thing I’ve done in aaaaaages. Can’t wait to work up a decent sweat in the nearby future. Double-yay!
But hey, enough about being sick. There’s a limit of how much of that you want to read on a Sunday. How about reading about delicious avocados instead. Or, more correctly, looking at pictures of them. Look how delicious this looks;
Yum, yum, yum. Pressed, dried capsicum crackers with guacamole and sour cream. You should try it! Seriously! Do you know what else you should try? Having fresh herbs growing on your balcony. I got some new ones organised today as my previous ones died in the heatwave! I am a bit of a slow mover with house work related stuff, so I only got organised to do it today! Look how pretty they look;
Can’t wait to use that Liquorice Basil for something delish! Any ideas?
Anyway, this post is turning into just babble. Maybe it’s because I have been deprived from talking lately! Really looking forward to getting back into it next week. I’m planning on having an awesome week at work spent with all my beautiful clients, I’m planning on getting right back into training with a minimum of two weights sessions, three yoga sessions and two running sessions. I’m planning on organising Shakespeare in Botanic Gardens with some gorgeous girlfriends and maybe even go for a Sunday drive to a beach or a winery with my man on Sunny Sunday. So guess what? Next week is going to be an awesome week, just because I said so! How’s your week going to be?
Awesome Ashild xoxo
How are you feeling now?

Get well soon
Thank you 🙂
awesomeashid, I love your blog. BTW. I’ve read all of Henning Mankell’s book. Love the Wallander series. Been watching the tv versions. The English and the Swedish. They are so good. Good thing to watch when you are not feeling good. Makes the time go by.
They’re awesome, aren’t they?! The series is/has been on at SBS, but I’ve never sat down to actually watch an episode..
