I went indoor rock climbing today. Something I haven’t done for over three years (Ingrid, Arnstein and Yngve; I miss you!). And it is so much fun! But yes, my arms (and hands and back and abs and probably legs as well) are going to be very sore tomorrow. If you have never done rock climbing before, do it! It’s an awesome workout, you may conquer your fear of heights and most importantly; you will have a lot of fun!! Oh, and in case you’re wondering rock climbing is not a part of my marathon training…

Time to try something new? I would really recommend trying indoor rock climbing. All you need is two arms and two legs (and I am sure there are some crazy awesome people out there climbing with one arm and one leg) and a buddy that can keep you safe while you’re dangling high, high up the fake mountains. If you haven’t got a buddy and don’t like climbing too high, then bouldering is what you are after.
